Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to website work carried out by Neighbourhood Digital, run by Dan Bassett in East Devon, and are agreed before any project begins.
1. The package
The standard package is a professionally designed one-page website at a fixed price of £595, as described on this website. Anything outside that scope is quoted and agreed in writing before work starts.
2. Payment
A 50% deposit is payable before work begins. The remaining 50% is payable after you approve the finished website and before it goes live. Prices are in pounds sterling.
3. Timescales
The seven-working-day build window begins once the deposit and all essential content have been received. Delays in supplying content, feedback or approvals extend the timeline accordingly.
4. Your content
You confirm that any logos, images, text or other material you supply are yours to use, or that you hold the necessary licences. You remain responsible for the accuracy of information published about your business.
5. Revisions
One structured round of reasonable revisions is included after the first version is presented. Further rounds, or changes that alter the agreed scope, are quoted separately.
6. Ownership and hosting
Once the final payment has been received, you own the finished website design and content created for your business, and it is yours to keep. Domain names are registered in your name wherever possible. Hosting, domain renewals and any ongoing support are separate from the build fee and are confirmed in writing before the project begins.
Neighbourhood Digital retains ownership of any underlying tools, templates and reusable components used to build the site, and may reference the completed website as an example of its work unless you ask otherwise.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time by emailing hello@neighbourhooddigital.uk. The deposit covers work already carried out and is non-refundable once the build has started.
8. Liability
We take reasonable care in delivering the work, but we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for issues caused by third-party services such as hosting, domain registrars or email providers. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
